Short Story :

It did not started in recent times or centuries. The Inception of recognition of Electricity as a force was understood way before  around 600 B.C. as a type of force existing in Nature. In later period around 17th Century, Benjamin Franklin came out with the Famous Kite Experiment and proved that the lightening consist of electricity. Later many researchers and inventors came out with many inventions starting from the Light Bulb by Edison to Computer by Charles Babbage and still the inventions are happening with extreme speed flavoring the essence of technology advancements and catering the ease in Human Life
